I have a Bally 5000+, called Crazy Winners. The problem started when I would turn the machine on and the meters in the door assembly began to rapidly advance by themselves. It is a double progressive and no codes show up there or on the meter. The meter looks like this: |.|.|.|., except that the periods are at the top of the vertical lines. Now when I turn it on, all the lights function. The reels have gone to and stopped at 3-7's, and the coins fall through to the tray and the handle will not budge. The meters no longer advance.
Anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say get a set of reset chips and try a couple of times to reset. sounds like a machine I worked on some time ago.
