I am here. the problem is either dead battery or bad cmos (5101s). try reseating the 5101s - they may be bad or the sockets. Also remove the P1 game prom - see if you get 654321 flashing.

It has been a while since my machine is located at the cottage and we seldom go there in the winter. I was there last week and this is what I checked and tried.
I checked all fuses and power supply voltages. The voltages are TP1 4.93 TP2 7.19 TP4 9.98 I checked all ribbon connectors and they looked OK. I removed the two 5101 cmos (U23 & U24) and them interchanged them. No difference in machine. I checked the battery and it is OK. I removed the personality prom (P1-U12) machine did not flash 654321 it still reads 7....6 Any more help will be appreciated. Thanks fiero1988gt

Couple of things I forgot to mention. A couple of weeks before this 7....6 fault occured I blew the 5 amp fuse on the hopper. I moved and jiggled wires to the connector and that fuse never blew again. I played with the machine a few more times and then the last time I powered it up the 7....6 fault occured. I also tried the self test on the machine but that does not work either. Hope this extra info helps. Thanks fiero1988gt
