I just picked up a Double Double Diamonds in a private sale this past weekend.
The machine has a bill vendor, but it acts almost like its not getting power.
I have checked every connector and fuse possible.
If I pull the front part where the bill goes in, once in a while it will cycle like it doing a self test. But it still doesnt take a bill. The light for insert bill is not lite either.
Any suggestions for this newbie?

ive heard a lot of these needing calibration..
and or jumper settings.
although i never had luck with em, but I worked on old machines.

It could be the Bill validator is not activated; you need a Set Eprom to activate it- run the program to see if it is activated. If it isn't, the lights won't be on and it will reject bills.
