It has a + at one end and a - at the other (on the board) Send me an e mail address and i'll send you a picture of the MPU Board and battery. It should read 3.6 v. The battery has solder tabs on it. If it is weak or bad, your machine will not work and you will need to de-solder and solder on a new one- easy to do! If you have a bill validator, to make it work, you will need a "Set Chip' to activate it and set the denomination- also easy to do but you will need the eprom. -otherwise it will work but without the Bill Validator.
