have a 1996 IGT wild cherry. Just got it. Hit cash out and hopper turns and coins fall out but the credits don't go down and then it stops and sends error code 3300. Plenty of coins. Cleaned lenses on optic still wont see coins. any ideas? could the optic be bad? Every once in a while will see a coin and then stops and sends 3300.

There should be a mechanical switch in line with the coins out chute. Check and make sure its moving and fully engaging as the coins come out. It may just need to have the screws loosened and adjusted. I'd suggest doing this with the power off disengage the motor brake and manually spin. You will hear the switch click if its adjusted right.
