I think we kind of knew it was going downhill, even though we still loved our favorite show, I remember quite a few comments about it turning kind of soapy. And I don't think it was a great season, I think the only thing I liked about the whole season was Lifeline, and parts of Adrift I. Lifeline is a pretty big deal though, so it does a lot for season six's reputation. I think season 4, the earlier years before Mic/Renee and all that crap, and when the plotlines were still the focus with the UST in the background, were far superior. But Fair Winds and Following Seas trumps everything :D
