Subject: Ah, one of my favorite episodes. I'll give it a 5, even though Webb is in it. (Or maybe I should follow the lead of Christa, above, and deduct a small amount...maybe give it a 4.9.) There was excitement, shipperness (is that a word?), action, shipperness, scenery...and did I mention shipperness? [inside]

(2) I'd like to think of Harm's remark as just meaning it was strong, rugged country, but I have to admit that it sounded a wee bit chauvinistic. Disappointing, Harm!
(3) Well, it could be that since Mac was there herself (in love, that is), she was more perceptive of it in others. Also, I think women may be more attuned to that particular emotion, even when there's action and danger around.
(4) I wasn't sure what to make of this remark, so I figured it was just one of those quotes tossed in to confuse us, and make us think there was something deep and thoughtful going on.
(5) Even though I liked Singer getting her comeuppance, I didn't like that Harriet hit her. That was stooping to Singer's level, and giving her the victory, in a sense. There might have been a bit of a problem if Singer had pressed charges.
(6) I assume they found a safer spot, and resumed cuddling. Of course, TPTB wouldn't show us anything that good, now, would they?
(7) I don't think they had THAT much fun in the desert. Ouch! Sand in "delicate areas" does NOT sound like fun. That also would make it seem more accident and uncommitted than I like to consider them, so I'm glad they didn't go there. I'm not sure how the series would have gone if Mac had ended up pregnant. It most likely would have precluded Paraguay, though, so that might have been a plus!
(etc) Yes, I liked the hat and cammies. It was so different from Harm's usual buttoned-up look! I got a good laugh out of Webb's "Sexy Beast," and I thought it was on a par with Bud's "Stud," back in Vanished.
