Subject: I liked this episode, alot! This was before I really got my shipper on, as far as Harm and Mac were concerned, so Dalton didnt feel like too much of threat to me. I thought Mac looked so beautiful in that red dress, I couldnt help wishing Harm could see her. Its a 4.75 for me. We had action Harm, we had funny Bud and beautiful Mac..and of course, Harm called her 'Sarah'!!!

I think Harriet brought alot to the mix at JAG. They had to keep her TAD so she wouldnt be in Buds chain of command. I have to admit they could be tiresome, at times, but for the most part, I like their characters, they complemented Harm and Mac very well. A couple who acknowledged their feelings vs. a couple who never seemed able to.

2)I always saw that as a bit of tptb putting his own spin on things, he never seemed to apologize for being an old fashioned guy. AND to be honest, it wasnt the worst thing he couldve said. Mac was more than a pretty face, and she was confident enough to know that.(I wonder if Dalton ever did)

3)I think Mac was dazzled, not only by the circles in which Dalton moved, but by the importance of the cases that were handled by the law firm. (Little did she know she'd be a glorified law clerk)I think Mac's feeling of being handed what she saw as trivial tasks at JAG were irritating, but I dont think thats what 'spirited' her away. Harm was right, it was Dalton and all he stood for. I dont think Mac even acknowledged to herself how she felt about Harm, not in the real sense, I dont think she expected to feel as she did when she left him and JAG.

4)I dont think either of them could begrudge her wanting to climb higher in her career. In a way, I think they were both happy for her and they cared enough not to try to manipulate her.(Dalton had no problem with that though...did he?)

5)I think that's when it first hit her that she was walking away from someone she felt a strong connection to. For all she knew, she would never work with him again, or might not ever see him again. That had to be pretty profound. Dalton for all his razzle dazzle, was no Harm, period.

6)I think it was a combination of things, loss of a close partner(they'd been through alot together)jealousy of Daltons status in the civilian world, his Porche the fact that he had Mac in his life..etc. As far as he knew, she was gone from his life, like is other two partners, never to return.
