Subject: Our Decision...

We have become aware of various attitudes towards the moderators that has helped us to make our decision. We've read on their message board that five or six posters want us gone. We have never expected everyone to like us, but we will not be pushed off the boards we've created and maintained for 8 ½ years. We've received a lot of support from other posters who really love the HBs and want them to continue. It doesn't matter whether you are new to our boards or are long time posters, you are important to us and the community.

We really appreciate all the support and suggestions. Someone suggested we get more moderators. In fact, we do have other moderators. We also have The Chief, manette and Claudia.

As for the group that feels so victimized, you can stay or you can go. It's up to you but this conversation is over.

No replies to this thread are necessary. Let's just get back to HarmyBoard business.

i have enjoyed and admired all the work you all do to make this an enjoyable place to come. you offer so many different avenues of interest, and i know it must take a lot to keep everything going. you seem to reach out to everyone (in my opinion) with the birthday list and the "getting to know you" list. those who want to get involved can, and those who want to lurk, do... i just want you all to know i'm grateful for all that you do, and i'll continue to enjoy this site for as long as you choose to keep it running. it just wouldn't be the same if even one of you was missing.
