Subject: I meant to post this sooner, but I've had a lot of distractions this week. I give this one a 5. It's one of my favorites. It represents all the best things about JAG: drama, action, humor, romance, etc. Inside

2) I think he found her attractive, he's a guy after all. LOL But I don't think he was seriously interested in her. She was too young, too "out there", and too much of an assignment like he said. He needed someone a little more grounded and mature that could truly be an equal. Someone like...Mac.

3) I don't think there was much future interaction. He probably still treated her like an assignment.

4) I think Mac was a romantic that wanted to believe in fairy tale endings. I think her home life probably caused her to escape to fantasyland a lot. As she got older, alcohol replaced that, but I think the romantic in her still yearned for the happily ever after ending. That's why she stuck it out with Mic, she desperately wanted to believe it could work.

5) I think he thought of her as a best friend and maybe something more. He just wasn't ready to admit to himself (or anyone else) how much more because it scared him.

6) I think they were too busy working to worry about dates. They might have some together for convenience sake, or they might have come alone. I could see either happening.

Thanks again to Araninda for keeping these going. It really helps to keep the board alive, especially now!

Was Harm really attracted to the princess? Not in my opinion, other than the superficial admiration of a healthy man for an attractive young woman. She was simply a kid, to his point of view. I think that was probably easier to tell her than saying she was too young for him. I doubt he saw her again, and if he did, I doubt he would have felt any different.

I think Mac swung back and forth between being a romantic, and decided that "all that stuff" was just imaginary. She was sensitive to others, and wanted to help, but she seemed to think that it wasn't in the cards for her, since Harm was the standard to which she held other men, and Harm didn't seem to be interested. I always assumed that Harm and Mac came together, but not in a dating sense, since they were both on duty (at least, that's what I gathered from the plot line). I don't think Harm thought of her as a sister, but he didn't quite know what to think of her. A colleague, a friend, but much more than either of those. As we know, it took him another seven or eight years to decide what it was!
