Subject: Working on a story for the Valentine/February challenge on the HBX, a question came to my mind so I thought I'd ask it here. I guess it's two parts, really. First, aside from the last episode when he utters those words (I love you) to Mac, did we ever hear him tell someone he loved them in the series? And second, do you think there was anyone we didn't see that he told that he loved them?

[> My recollection is that he never said it to anyone other than Mac...I don't count that song to Annie thing as actually "saying it". To the second part, I don't think he did ever directly say it to anyone other than maybe his mother or grandmother that we didn't get to see.
