Subject: Episode tilte meaning

JAG's Episode titles are usually pretty self-explanatory. Sometimes they would even have more than one meaning. But one has me stumped: Trinity (S3)

Does anyone know how that title relates to the story? Or maybe we discussed it once and I've forgotten.

It's one of the better eps, too :)

... I took it to refer to the Shamrock. The Shamrock is one of Ireland's emblem, rather like a three-leaf clover in appearance. In fact, some quick googling shows I'm probably correct:

The Shamrock
A shamrock is a young sprig of clover, used as a symbol of Ireland. Saint Patrick, Ireland's patron saint, is said to have used it as a metaphor for the Christian Trinity. The name shamrock comes from Irish seamróg, which is the diminutive of the Irish word for clover (seamair) and means simply "little clover" or "young clover."

That's from Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shamrock (If the link didn't paste properly, just search on Shamrock from any Wiki page.)

usmgrad, you could be right about the three countries but a trinity usually is an alliance of some sort as well, which I think isn't exactly being demonstrated between England and Ireland! Maybe the three US military folk; Harm, Mac and the mother? Mum, Dad and baby? Three "armies" - the Irish protestors, the Irish authorities and the US military folk? All of the above/works on all levels? Who knows!? But I'm quite sure we're meant to think of the Shamrock.
