The Colonel's Wife from season five, episode 93. Written John Schulian, directed by Alan J. Levi. First aired November 16,1999.

A Marine colonel's wife is accused of smuggling drugs, and her weak denials convince Mac that she is guilty.

This episode had Harm and Mac in civies while working the case. Do you miss the uniforms or was it nice to see them in civilian clothes for a change?

[> I always enjoyed seeing them in civilian clothes whether PJs, gowns, formal attire, jeans, etc. Made them look like the rest of the world and much more relaxed. -- jenks, 09:56:42 08/25/16 Thu

[> I also liked the occasions when they wore civilian attire. It always gave me the impression that I was seeing another "side" to the character when they were out of uniform. -- EmmaJade, 23:24:17 08/25/16 Thu

[> It always made me laugh when they showed them in so many social situations in uniform. I'm a veteran and my husband is still in the Navy. Military people do not wear their uniforms that much! Many even change at work before they go home, but that is just one of many little details (and big details) they got wrong (and don't get me started on NCIS). I still love the show though, even when I'm laughing at them. -- LC, 02:41:25 08/29/16 Mon

[> [> [> And then there were the times they had Mac & Harriet wearing civilian gowns to military balls. Not an option! They would be in formal uniforms, just like the guys. The one time I usually hated having to wear a uniform, looking at all those pretty dresses on the civilian spouses. At least there was no stress to find a dress for the occasion. -- LC, 01:26:47 09/09/16 Fri
