Since you get a faint display, I doubt there is a problem with the video card. This is usually due to either a bad inverter or backlight. The backlight(similar to a small neon tube)is located in a groove at the bottom of the LCD housing and is covered by foil or a metal housing.
You might try sales@adeal.com or eBay seller ace1062 for parts. eBay has several listings for Profiles but most are 5's and no parts.
