Hey Mike; I'm using XPPro. I have to tell you. I purchased the lower half of the laptop on line. It looks brand new, there's no serial numbers on it. Was supposed to be a surplus purchase by this company. So I'm starting to wonder whether the touchpad plug is working. I know the touchpad it self works fine because I took it out of a 433 Solo 2150 along with the screen and HD and they worked fine. I am using USB mouse for now. The bios summary screen tells me that the PS/2 is not installed. So if the bios doesn't recognize it I know XP won't get it. All signs are pointing to the motherboard I'm afraid.
