I would first do several checks before going into the laptop. Check the voltage output for the power supply. It should be 19v DC. When the power connector came loose there could be damage to the motherboard connector. Next connect the laptop to an external monitor. Make sure the laptop did not go into hibernation. If these checks fail, send me an email for disassembly instructions.
