Got a big problem, gateway solo2500, need to update bios to 10.12 in order to see the 40gb hard drive I installed. I forgot to do this prior to removing old 2gb drive. While trying to reinstall the old drive I dropped it and now it is dead. I onlyhave access to macs 8500,g4,ibookall of which belong to my wife. I can't extract the bios file in order to transfer to floppy then to laptop. Macs don't exe without crossplatformsftware ie virtual pc etc. If someone could email the extracted bios files I would be able to drop them on a floppy and do the bios update. The file needing to be extracted is
7507697.exe found under gateway support bios update for gateway solo 2500. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it. Please send extracted files to Eric at blkrncld@twcny.rr.com
