BOO! I can explain why I've not been on-no time. Iwas incredibly busy in the last school year. But I would definitely like to come back. One thing though-I don't like my character too much. Too corny.

I would like for you guys to come back. To tell you the truth, the reason why I hadn't been here so much was that I had stopped reading the books for a while (no money to buy them...). I just recently got the next one (Lord of Chaos, yes!!) and I'm totally in love with it again. If the advertizing worked, then I'll try it again. Another question for you guys... Is there anything you can think of that I can do to make this place um... more attractive?

One thing that keeps people off this board is that no one comes here. We've still got some pretty old messages and all that... but still, it adds a sort of character to the board... sort of like some old shop off at the edge of a small rural area where you happen to live and only you and a few others know about and go to. I live in a place like that. The fact is that this place just isn't well known as wheel of time boards go. I just happen to like it... that's all. This place has basically no press whatsoever. It's far from the first thing to come up on a search for it, and it's got little enough action that not many people care anyways. Therefore, I'd merely suggest continuing on the current course, while maintaining a responsive awareness of the environment (subtitle: exploit the opportunites as they present themselves and none other).
You may disagree, but that's likely because I have no experience whatsoever with being in charge of a small portion of the internet. This is however the most effective policy that I can think of.

By the way, I suppose I should have said that although it waroked for me, I wouldn't suggest advertising yourself again. You'll remember from long ago that someone freaked out and assassinated the bartender in a quasi-hillarious partly serious rage and wiped him out. It doesn't necessarily make friends and influence people. And also, I'm wondering if you could tell me where that website is again? The one labelled 'home' where you can sign up and submit short stories based on Wheel of Time to the creator for discretion on posting and whatnot. It's not posted up here anymore and I've forgotten the address. Is it even still running?
