Well, i wish regine makes a change on her next upcoming album and leave those ballads for a while. Kasi hindi na siya nagiging versatile. Nagsasawa na ang mga tao sa kaniya kung hindi siya mag rereinvent. She must shift to rnb/hiphop genre. If you will look at mariah, hanggang ngayon still, successful cya coz she's reinventing herself, from classical, ballad pop, to rnb hiphop, nagawa niya, i wish regine also can do what mariah did. And i wish mag release siya ng albums yung remixes ng mga old songs niya will transform into a new ones with rnb/hiphop flair at medyo fast at may beat at may mga guest na rap at may mga guest na rap artist at syempre trendy. ang saya non, danceable ba. Covers 2 could probably passed for Under World 2's movie poster. hehe.. Maybe some foreigners will buy her album thinking it must be the movie's soundtrack, eh? Nah. Covers is great. But most of all for being the one to give him some after being someone who was single out and given a very personal and heavy flaming by Raul the songbird's musical director on the fans yahoo group before. That's mighty big of you to be looking beyond that incident and given some credit to whom it due. I always knew you were an admirable good (Regine) music fan. Thanks for proving it now. ;-} Because if it was me who was insulted like that .. I might have shown up during a PPS taping and walked over to him on the stage and slammed shut the piano cover over his fingers! 10 years ago, I mean.. I'm more mellow now. So maybe today I would have called up pizza-hut and ordered family pizzas for everyone in the audience and have it charged to Raul. lol. It was probably really just an misunderstanding then- The uncalled for and (I'm pretty sure unintentional) insult he was "knighted" by Regine's musical director on the songbird fans group at the time may be seen as a very unfortunate incident because of the number of fans who seen it happen but will be seen differently when you know some of the inside story to it. Raul himself said he was still new in learning how to communicate more "properly" with fans on the yahoo groups via the internet. It shouldn't happen again. Towards any fans at least. I'm not too sure about towards people like Regine's media detractor or that sneaky acting L.A. concert producer we all know about. I've always enjoyed her music although I would have to say that I really do have a preference for Regine to do Tagalog songs (OPMs in Tagalog even). I feel she is really in her element when she sings in her native tongue....thus her hits from Urong Sulong, Kung Maibabalik ko lang, Narito Ako, Sana Maulit Muli, and all the collaborations she did with Ogie Alcasid are huge hits. I do hope she researches more in the selection of her songs......like why not do a movie theme album with songs like Pati Pintig ng puso, Sana Bukas pa ang Kahapon, kung Mahawi Man Ang Ulap,Minsan Sa Isang Panahon, Narito ang Puso Ko, Saan Darating ang Kahapon. There are tons of old Tagalog classics waiting to be rearranged to modern classics. SOmething like what she did with Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin, Sana Maulit Muli, Pasko Na sinta ko, and narito Ako.
