I've seen it too. Lani's version is OK, she did it in her own style pero hindi bagay yung song sa kanya. Better not sing songs na ang pitch ay pang-regine. She's having a hard time reaching the high notes.
but no one can match the original. Regine's version is the best. I like regine's dadalhin.

I agree. My Brother and I noticed it too. Lani
obviously had a hard time hitting the high notes.
Hindi ganon kalinis. Regine's version is so smooth and
the emotion or feeling is just right.
There is only one Regine. And there is only one Lani.

Yup, Lani sang DADALHIN... initial reaction: WHY WOULD
SHE AGREE TO SING THE SONG?. She shouldn't have agreed
to do it considering 1) DADALHIN is strongly associated
with Regine and 2) the Regine Vs Lani Issue.
I don't know about you guys, but i'm thinking that
it was definitely a bad move for Ms. Lani.
A friend of mine who saw it commented that the performance
sounded very unrehearsed; it also made the song sounded like
it was for the older people and that it sounded as if
Pilita Corales were singing.
I hope Lani has enough senses in her mind to take heed of the
observations we’ve given here. No doubt that she has so much talent
and like most people, I don’t want that talent to go into waste. There
is enough room for everybody in the industry so there is no point in
competing with Regine- as Sharon Cuneta once said when ask if she minds
Regine being a big star of Viva.
Ronnie and Ida should stop molding Lani to become a mere copy of Regine. Although there is nothing wrong with using a formula that
has been tried and tested, but they should let Lani evolve into
her own unique self.
As the old cliché goes: " You cannot be the best apple if you are a banana to start with"
