His opinion is read and respected here. Same as
Regine fan TOLSKY.
The Music Inside Buzz had sponsors who supported
BOTH female music artists- Lea Salonga and Regine Velasquez
These forums are visited by people who can still
make a difference in the music scene. Let good
people speak their mind. Hopefully we can tell
when there are those who shouldn't because they
are just out of their minds. And to be able to
tell the difference.

Regine Velasquez is believed to have sold more than
6 million copies of her Asian releases. Because one of
them did reach Japan and Hong Kong and was pirated in
China.. she is considered an international artist.
But it was that one awesome moment when she sang with
Mandy Moore at the MTV-ASIA Awards that said it all-
so many foreigners were there .. and practically all
of them started clapping when Regine Velasquez was
mentioned and then performed! Heck, there's a BIG
foreign star in the country who mentioned her. Even
AI JASMINE said Regine is who she wanted to meet.
And she's still a kid! Compared to Regine..
MTV-ASIA still remembers her number one song and video
" In Love With You" IN ASIA with China's biggest male
recording artist at the time. ( Jacky (?)Chung )
That alone is why she was an international star and still
is in some ways. Because she is still remembered fondly.
Do I have to mention the number of foreigners who are
stars in their own country who visited this country
the last few years who all mentioned her name? Even
gave her some of the highest musical compliments?
Make no mistake about it.. Regine is the single most
important Philippine female recording artist of our
time.
Take nothing away from Lea. Yet remember there have been a
few given right to her courtesy of the Song Bird herself.
As far as this former music manager is concerned those
2 Philippine music icons are two of a kind.
