I've never heard of Vanessa before, but she is really impressive. May pagka Lara Fabian ang boses nya sa low note registers. On her high notes, I think she used her headtone in hitting them. It sounded good pero may konting struggling effect. Kaya ni Regine ang song na 'yon. I think mas mataas pa nga ang Light of a Million mornings ni Regine. Di nya na nga lang kinakanta. On special occasions na lang yata. But the last time I heard Regine belted that high was on Ogie's bday on SOP when she sang "Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka" and belted out that high note in the end part of the song instead of her usually hitting that note using her headtone. Ang galing nya do'n.

Kaya ba ni regine ang 26 seconds na ganun katagal?kasi sa mga narinig ko na songs niya in recordings..i think "never ever say goodbye" ang pinakamatagal na note nya..yung sa last part niya....

Actually sobrang haba ng last note na 'yon. I tried to do it myself to see kung kaya ko, and I was able to reach the note (that's how I know na kaya ni Regine), pero I was short of breath naman. I was able to sustain it when I sneaked in a breath before hitting that last note "fore....(breath)ver.... So dinaya ko, pero sustain ko na sya till the end. LOL

It's funny that everytime we hear a dificult or challenging new song, we always get anxious to hear or to know how it would turn-out if Regine would sing that song.

may clear copy ako ng light of a million mornings at go the distance(theme song for hercules) version ni regine.. mas mataas sa ginawa nyang version nung concert nya nung 1993.. meron din ako ng version nya ng "home" na matindi din na kinanta nya sa concert nya na "regine in season" sa ultra, mahaba ung duration from low to high note ang ginawa nya dun... meron din ako na version nya ng "what kind of fool am i" na mas mataas sa recorded at ilang concerts nya (dis concert was with vernie varga and another singer based in Japan) :) parang d ako avid na fan ni regine.. hehehehehe.. i guess nagustuhan ko lang talaga ung breathing capability at ung sustaining power nya kahit pulos matataas na ang kakntahin nya.. meron din akong taped na concert nya where she sang mc arthur's park na malat sya yet na hit nya ung high note.. npapaiba nya ang singing voice nya sa speaking voice nya.. :D
