I think to call Pops a "has been" is an overstatement naman. Sikat pa rin naman si Pops hanggang ngayon kahit papano. Kaya lang, mas marami na nga lang mga bagong artists na talagang mas magaling sa kanya, and she was not able to keep up or maintain her status as concert queen, but out of respect, she kept the title anyway. But that's ok, wala namang permanente sa showbiz di ba?

Pops will never be a "has been" for Regine. Regine is very vocal on Pops being a great part of her success, and has always looked up to her as a great concert performer and fashion icon. But I think that this is Regine's way of helping-out Pops. Masakit man to admit sa mga Pops fans dyan, but Pops is not making as much money as before, and neither is she getting a lot of offers as before. This team-up will totally help Pops a lot with her career at sa pera. They're both set already to have a US concert tour. And just think how much exposure and money will Pops get out of this gig. I don't think Pops could do it on her own anymore. But she's lucky to have a friend like Regine who never fails to forget the people who has helped her in her career.

Sa status ni Regine, making more money is no longer the main thing for her. Binibigyan nya ring kahalagahan ang pagkakaibigan at paglingon sa mga taong tumulong sa kanya when she was a nobody. So why not? I don't see anything wrong with that. So kahit di ko feel ang team-up nila, watch pa rin aketch.
