IS it true that Pops Fernandez has a gap with mom, former actress Dulce Lukban, who's been managing her career and producing her concerts for the longest time?
Dulce is said to have resented Pops' scouting around for a new manager.
Well, we can't blame Pops as nothing much is happening to her career right now. After she left ABS-CBN, she moved to GMA-7 then ABC-5 but her shows there didn't do very well. We also heard that Dulce does not approve of Pops' rumored romance with Jomari Yllana. They were allegedly with each other on New Year's Eve to welcome 2006 together. How true?
Luis' good deeds draw positive feedbacks
LUIS Manzano's sharing his earnings with unfortunate people that we wrote about recently drew positive feedback from readers worldwide. Here's a note from Julie who's based in Sweden : "What Luis did is an eye-opener for all of us. It's good to share our blessing with people who are in need. I am so impressed by his generosity and the credit goes to his parents and, of course, to Luis himself. I am a mother, too, and I take pride in saying that Vilma Santos truly raised her son very well. She is really a good role model to all of us."
This one is from Irene who's based in Canada : "We are truly blessed having people like Ate Vi and her son Luis who share their blessings. I'm also very thankful to all my co-Vilmanians around the globe for all the news and happiness that I get whenever I visit our e-groups. It's nice to be connected to all of you through the Internet.
From Henry who is based in Saudi Arabia: "It's so nice to read again and again the good deeds that Vilma Santos and her son, Luis do for the less fortunate. They are good role models we should all emulate." Jeannie Wong of California is also thankful that Luis actually visits their e-groups and answers the questions they post for him. Here are their questions and Luis's corresponding answers: "Any chance you'll make a movie with your mom and dad? Papayag ba ang Tito Ralph mo na magkasama sina mommy and daddy mo sa isang movie with you?" Luis's answer: Oo naman, he understands that work is work, plus I'm sure he knows it'll be a nice project, he'll probably watch it, too.
Q: "Ano ba 'yong project in the works na 'yon? Puwede ba bigyan mo kami ng konting hint para mas madali makiusap or ipagdasal sa Diyos na matuloy."
A: I really can't say pa, basta its something really big and something we are all very excited about, pls keep all those prayers coming in.
Q: Do you still live at home?
A: Yup, but I have my own condo. Can't sleep well if im not in my house.
Q: Kailan ba ang start ng trilogy movie mo? Mayroon na bang playdate?
A: We started it matagal na, almost the same time as "Kampanerang Kuba," but all our schedules are difficult so not sure pa kung kailan matutuloy.
Q: Anong age mo plano mag-asawa? Ilang anak ang gusto mo?
A: No particular age, as long as I know I'm stable (emotionally and financially) and I can devote my whole life to my family and wife. As for kids, I want mga 3.
