Tickets for Pops –Regine Are Flying Fast!

The show is still two months away but tickets are flying so fast for
the "Queens…On Fire" concert! Ana Puno, Star Media's President
remarks "The concert box office movement is amazing. We have not
done heavy promotions yet but the prime sections of the theater are
selling out."
The concert stars the acknowledged reigning queens in the local
concert circuit.
Concert Queens Pops Fernandez and Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez
have been dominating the live entertainment scene for almost two
decades.
As if to prolong their reign and strengthen their crowd-drawing

forces in a much-anticipated show "Queens On Fire" set for April in
eight US cities and a pre-Valentine show in Manila at the ULTRA.
"We did a show together 3 or 4 years ago in the US", Pops
remembers. "We had so much fun then," Regine adds.

project for the two of them. Fresh from the twin triumphs of their
last concerts and Regine's "Reigning still", the two decided to
collaborate on a special show that will highlight their individual
talents. "If you look at it, we are two very different performers,"
Pops points out. "She does belting so well, while I am more into
dance music".
"It is precisely the fact that we have very diverse styles that make
our show all the more interesting," Regine remarks. "Since we don't
do the same things, the audience can expect more variety in our
show," Pops pipes in.
And as they say, variety is the spice in life.
Both artists are certain that their tandem will be a big hit among
their US- based followers." It's because the show's guaranteed to
please everyone, "Regine attests.
"There will be a little bit of everything for everybody." Pops
confirms.
If they are into soaring ballads and show-stopping tunes the
Songbird can accomplish that effortlessly.
If they are into hip and hot hits, the latest dance craze and all-
out production numbers, the Concert Queen can deliver the goods
flawlessly.
"But on top of the usual things that they'll be expecting us to do,
we also have a lot of unexpected concepts in store," Pops
beams. "There'll be a lot of new ideas and surprises." That is
another thing that Regine and Pops have in common. When it comes to
unique concert concepts, they are the divas to beat."
