this is lechel reporting from what happen at NAIA this afternoon.
I was at the NAIA terminal 1 at exactly four pm; one and half hour before Pops and company check-in for the there departure to Vancouver Canada at 7:30 pm via PAL. I'm waiting patiently at the waiting area muna for 30 minutes, mga 4:30 na iyon nag-start na akong mainip so i texted Cita and asked kung nasa airport na ba sina Pops o wala pa. Cita text back saying wala pa daw doon si Pops at Yolly. So i waited again. At around 5:15 lumapit na ako sa may entrance ng mga umaalis. As i was standing there beside other people, whom i thought mga well wishers ng mga umalis din. But to my surprise di pala sila mga well-wishers. They are also waiting for Pops. Nalaman ko lang when one of them said, di pa ba dumadating si Pops? Nagulat ako, then i looked at them and saw that they are well equip with microphone and video cam. So i texted my textmates here in the list (Lyne, Melissa, Prue, and Gabbie) and Cita, informing them na may paparazzi dito sa NAIA. After 5 minutes or at exactly 5:20 pm, i saw Pops vehicle (a blue 4 door Toyota RAV 4 with plate number LUV 112) approaching. Upon seeing it, i walk ahead of those press people. But in a span of seconds napansin din nilang dumating na si Pops. Sabi pa nga noon isa sa kanila, andyan na si Pops. As the vehicle stop, i waited for Pops to emerged from her car. The press people approach Yolly first. Ako si Pops agad ang nilapitan ko. I greeted her with a kiss and wish her Happy Trip and introduced myself. Sabi ko, I'm Lechel, ah ikaw pala iyon and i received a lot of cards from you and she thank me for that. Then at my back pala andun na mga press people.... iyon mga press people ask pops for an ambush interview. nag side ways na ako (i'm afraid na makita ako sa TV di pa naman alam sa office the real reason kung bakit ako ng half day and even in my house di nila alam na nag-half ako sa office mahirap nang mabuking he he he).
anyway, Pops was being interviewed about the split up of Ek and Koala (whatelse di ba?) i didn't hear all what she says, all i heard is that she said, she and ek haven't talk yet and she didn't know it at all. Sorry guys, di ko na pinakinggan maigi kasi nga alam ko ipalalabas din iyong interview ni sa tv. ( btw, the press people is from abs-cbn, i just don't know if they are from TV patrol, Headlines, S2 or The Buzz), abangan ninyo na lang. One more thing , iyong isang girl na kumausap kay pops, binanggit niya iyong guesting ni morning sa Sharon. at iyong di pagbigay ng comments ni aga about her. Pops reaction, she asked anong sabi niya. tapos sabi nun girl di niya sinagot iyong tanong eh, feeling ko medyo na offend si pops sa naging sagot ni aga (si morning naman kasi napakabobo talaga. di alam kung paano sasagot sa mga tanong.) After that, Pops gave each of them a goodbye kiss. Then it's my turn again. I kiss Pops again and asked her something... (sorry guys, i know you won't like these but...) i asked pops how is she and bt na? to my surprise she answer me with a smile up to her eyes " na were ok". upon hearing it, i smile at her and said that's good to hear. sabi niya sa akin thank you and bid goodbye to me again.
Pops is so beautiful kanina, she is a picture of a woman na walang problema. Her aura is so at peace. She is wearing a black body fit long sleeve blouse and a stonewashed maong pants and a black boots. Pops is not wearing any make-up only sunglass. Napaka ganda niya. GRABE.. well, she is not that thin, oks lang. Gulat nga siya noon nakita niya mga press people eh. Sabi niya oh nandito pala kayo. Tapos meron den nag picture sa kanya. Sayang nga eh, kasi i thought i bring along with me this morning my camera, eh di pala ....kainis di ko tuloy siya nakunan. eh my cel naman is not equip with camera. kaya wala akong picture na puedeng i-share sa inyo. di bale next time pagbalik niya and if ny schedule in the office is not that hectic aabsent uli ako. this time handa na ako sa camera ko.
Melissa, sorry ha sa sobrang excited ko di ko natanong iyong pinatatanong mo sa akin eh. i was mesmerized for the beauty of your lola. I missed her so much na nga iyong nakatingin lang ako sa kanya all the time she was being interview by the press people. i just wish yolly and magz happy trip. Pops is with Troy (but i didn't see him, aga siys dating eh), magz, yolly, john lapuz, danceers and band. Hindi kasama mommy niya i guess dulce will be the one in-charge taking care of r&r for one week.
