HAS Nancy Castiglione finally found her match in Brad Turvey?
If Brad’s name is familiar, it is because he still regularly appears in some shows of GMA-7. At one time, he did a movie with Star Cinema, "Pinay Pie," starring Ai Ai de las Alas and Assunta de Rossi, remember? He was once linked to Pops Fernandez, who also had the chance to meet his parents in Australia, if you recall.
Well, Nancy and Brad have a number of things in common. Both have foreign blood. Nancy’s mother is a Filipina but her dad is an Italian. She grew up in Canada.
Brad was born in Australia. There is no trace of Filipino blood in his veins as his parents are both foreigners.
Both Nancy and Brad came to the Philippines for a vacation. Nancy lived with some of her relatives’ mom in Antipolo, Rizal. In one of her outings with her cousins, a talent scout saw her and suggested that she audition for a commercial.
Nancy hired talent manager Ronnie Henares to handle her career when she decided to try showbiz. Now she is under Arnold Vegafria’s talent company.
Brad, meanwhile, had come with some friends to just gallivant around Manila, but a talent scout managed to book him for several TV commercials. In no time he became a GMA 7 talent, and the boyfriend of Pops.
Between Nancy and Brad, it is Nancy who can be considered as having been around. While Brad has been linked to only Pops F., Nancy has had five confirmed boyfriends: Luis "Lucky" Manzano, Paolo Contis, Bullet Jalosjos, John Prats and of course, Brad.
They were not yet in showbiz when Nancy and Lucky became sweethearts. In fact, it was Nancy who became a movie and TV star first before Lucky decided to follow suit.
After Lucky, Piolo Contis came into Nancy’s life. This was the time when Nancy allegedly discovered that there was a possibility that she may never become a mother. She learned this after going to a doctor.
Paolo immediately came out announcing that he will willingly marry Nancy whether she will be able to give him a child or not.
But, alas, shortly after he made this announcement, he and Nancy called it quits. He is now reportedly deeply in love with Isabel Oli.
If Nancy was hurt by her break-up with Paolo, it was never confirmed as she immediately found a replacement: Bullet Jalosjos.
Bullet may not be a showbiz personality, but he is a celebrity in his own right as he parents are former Congressman Romy Jalosjos, who is in prison, and singer Lourna Pal. Bullet was the reason why Nancy for a while, made Dakak, where the Jalosjos owns a resort, her second home.
Nancy found a convenient shoulder to cry on in John Prats when he called it quits with Bullet (who is now reportedly the boyfriend of starlet Katrina Halili). Most everyone, including John’s family, thought they will become sweethearts, after John’s stint as celebrity housemate in "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB).
No one can tell exactly who between Nancy and John had a change of heart after their two-month separation. Their supposed love affair ended even before it started. And now, it’s Brad and Nancy.
Will it safe to say that Nancy and Brad will end up together?
