Pops Fernandez hops over to Dermstrata

In a surprise move, Pops Fernandez signed with Dermstrata Skin Clinic and Spa to be the growing chain of beauty clinics’ celebrity endorser.

At a lunch hosted by the clinic’s founder Dr. Winnie Rodriguez a couple of weeks ago, Pops was ebullient as she talked about being confident that the clinic would take care of her beauty needs without compromising her well-being.

Dermstrata Skin Clinic and Spa started in an 11-sq m facility at SM Centerpoint on Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard in Quezon City in December of 1998. It has grown to a total of 26 branches across the archipelago.

It was started by the vivacious dermatologist, Dr. Winnie Rodriguez in December of 1998.

The vision for Dermstrata was to be an institution that would cater not only to the physical needs but also to the emotional and social well-being of the person.

With a wide array of treatments available, from a simple rejuvenating facial to body-boosting massages to botox, fillers, mesotheraphy, IPL hair removal, laser treatments and to cosmetic surgery, Dermstrata ensures the highest quality products, most modern techniques and skin care management.

Pops said that it’s not so much about how popular the owners of the clinic are. “It is the quality of service plus the assurance that you would be safe with them.”

Without reference to any of the beauty clinic she had been associated or had been visiting in the past, the singer said that it is important to know the qualifications of each and everyone involved in the clinic, especially the persons undertaking procedures that involve sensitive parts of the body.

She said that the team of doctors, nurses, and staff at every Dermstrata clinic is well-trained in their respective fields, therefore, a patient need not worry that they’d come out of the clinic with their faces botched up.

It’s going to be a long-term relationship between Dermstrata and Pops. That’s what Rodriguez is hoping for. As it is, the clinic’s staff is glad to have the concert queen on board.
