Through the years, the Concert Queen—as she would eventually be known—has became an institution and a model by which emerging female singers are gauged. On December 8, Pops will mark her silver anniversary in show business with a major concert— Diva-licious—to be held at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City. For the special event, Pops relayed to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) through e-mail that aside from the songs and stirring dance numbers, the concert will also showcase the fashionista in her. "I will have a total of eight costume changes," proudly wrote Pops, "'cause the concert will have a fashion show concept." She enumerated the the designers being considered to provide her attire for the momentous occasion: Randy Ortiz, Mitch Dulce, Maxi Cinco, Frederick Peralta, Rajo Laurel, Derric Hibaler, Dennis Celestial, Avel Bacudio, Ivar Aseron, Joey Samson, Puey Quinones, Janes Reyes, and Lyle Ybañez. Owing to the concert's grand production, two top-notch directors would be on top to oversee the entire flow. "It'll be stage directed and conceptualized by Rowell Santiago and musically directed by Homer Flores," said Pops. Pops has been in demand this year for overseas concerts—something that would definitely serve her well as she revs up for December. This year alone the Concert Queen brought her music to the following places: Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary in Canada; Anchorage and Dutch Harbor, Alaska; Chicago, Illinois; St. Louis, Missouri; Cache Creek; Oahu and Hilo in Hawaii; Montreal; Las Vegas, Nevada; Atlantic City; San Diego, California; Memphis, Tennessee; Pomona, California; Sta. Hindi ang love-hate relationship nila ng ex-husband niyang si Martin Nievera—na idinetalye ni Pops sa October 2007 issue ng YES! Magazine— ang naging highlight ng presscon, kundi ang pag-amin ni Pops sa nakaraang relasyon nila ni Piolo Pascual. Akala ni Pops ay matagal nang na-interview si Piolo kaya ang sabi niya ay matagal nang isyu ang tungkol doon. Nang malaman kung kalian at saan inamin ni Piolo ang tungkol sa kanila, nagbiro si Pops na tatawagan muna niya ang actor-singer bago mag-comment. Hindi nga lang pumayag ang press dahil matagal mawawala si Pops at by the time na makabalik siya, ibang controversy na ang pag-uusapan. "Talagang last Tuesday lang niya inamin ‘yon?" tanong ni Pops.
