Thank you for your reply, it's much appreciated and support for Miss Portugal is as much needed amongst Portuguese communities abroad as it is in Portugal. To answer your last question, the website is http://missworld. onlineisland .net (remove the spaces) the final structure is in place, but our sysadmin is still updating the individual documents.
What do we need ? A lot, every bit of support is needed from everyone in Portugal and abroad. We want to get our message out, we want people to know the strength of the message Miss Portugal will convey to the four corners of the globe. We want participants in Miss Portugal World 45 from the immigrant communities (although being able to show Portuguese Citizenship is mandatory) . We want people from the international communities to come to Portugal and attend the competition. You will get a chance to see the New Miss Portugal World and what it is she will do for her country and her culture. Meet her, get to know her up close, not just see her in Miss World. We want everyone to know that Portuguese beauty is back, and it's here to stay.
The most important thing to us is being able to get the message out, that message is simple, come see this country for the jewel she really is. So if you're inside Portugal, get in touch, participate in our events, buy a ticket, interact with us, if you're outside, get the message out, Portuguese and foreigners are welcome to come attend the finals. Getting tickets will not be difficult once our payment system is up.
We've been told that the previous beauty pageants in Portugal have been limited to a select few, advertising has been shy at best and as such, the beauty queens from Portugal go to participate, not to win. With everyone's support, we can change that. Statistically, popular support has always been a key factor in getting any country's contestant to win. For us, apart from the social causes we're working on, we want to garner that support for our new star. So, for to the Portuguese communities around the world, and to you in particular, the Miss Portugal World organisation hopes we'll be able to see you all in Miss Portugal World 45. Let's show our new queen that we're as much there for her as she is for us :)
