Subject: They understood each other a little better than other people who worked with both of them. I don't know if it was the comraderie of the Marines and having that in common, but they seemed to never have to explain anything. They clicked.

I think Gunny and Mac had a very healthy respect for the other. Mac being an officer treated Gunny more like an equal, & realized what a valuable resource he was. Gunny didn't treat Mac any different because she was a woman, he respected her & her abilities. My favorite eps are the ones in which Mac & Gunny worked together...Guilt, New Gun in Town.
