I think Mac was taking control of her life. She wanted to know what direction if any her life would be going with Harm. Who knows what Harm wanted. I think he didn't want to do anything that could mess up his friendship with Mac. I think Mac was tired of waiting and did something she hoped would jolt Harm into action. I think it was a wakeup call to Harm that there were others interested in her if he wasn't, so he'd better get cracking. I think it was a jealousy ploy, she liked Mic but it was a safe thing to do as he lived eons away. Harm and Mac tog. would have been fun to see. We definitley would have watched. Harm lets his guard down a little here and actually slugs Brumby. The end of the trial said it all. Harm was beginning to see that Mac was not about to wait around indefinitely.
