All he cared about was himself. Her feelings didn't matter.

He didn't care if she had a bad experience before in the same setting.

He forced her to come groveling to him and to beg for forgiveness when it was he who should have begged for her forgiveness.

He had no right to be so terse with her.


As for asking about the sexual harassment, it only took two years for him to figure out that he had in fact been sexually harassing her.

He should have been brought up on charges by the Admiral for Conduct Unbecoming.
