John I love it when you post as yourself and not with the other 10 aliases. The reason why because you will ALWAYS say something contradictary sooner or later.

Didn't you breed to Shooter II? If he was an average dog why would you breed to him? I'm curious to hear your half baked breeding ideas on this one. I couldn't stop laughing when you posted pedigrees are useless coming out in your best seller "PETBULLS FOR DUMMIES." Let's take a look at the avearge Shooter II's ped.

<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/public/printPedigree.php?dog_id=111167">http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/public/printPedigree.php?dog_id=111167</a>

Shooter II for starters comes from the most consistent winning Carver family. He is the son of a champion and his dam has thrown winners. His grandsire Sack might have been a cur but threw 3 gr.champions, a champion and many winners. GoGo girl is a ROM. AppleJack is a winner and Belle is a POR.

The third generation of Shooter II is where ny first hand knowledge comes in. I personally know the man who bought gr.ch.Banjo and gr.ch.BB Red('95 Dog Of The Year). Banjo and BB Red were bought for a total of $200 bucks. The Texas Iron Man said it was the best $200 bucks he has ever spent. Me and the Iron Man have stood 16 feet apart several times. Every time he had a McCool bred dog between his legs. Unfortunately I was on the losing end twice. All his dogs were all around solid dogs.

Now John I'm going to ask you again looking at his ped how can you call the dog average? If so why did you not only breed to Shooter II but you just bred his daughter? The reason why I like this board is the archives are available and can only be erased by the board moderator. John let me refresh your memory about what you said about the daughter of Shooter II you just bred. Remember your post on WEAK BLOOD, well here it is.

Those are good ideas. Genetics call the final shot and usually the human eye or evaluation will have some influence in how the end product of a breeding session will turn out over a "period of years". No one on the most part has raised 10 generations of a particular bloodline except The Colby Dogs. With that in mind, many "try" to breed "like for like" and that too can be a revolving door of disappointments and try again methods. Selection and elimination has always been the correct method of breeding dogs of all types of breeds. A "serious breeder" will not accept the bad with the good. If the dog shows good physical ability but has no social behavior that is accostom to the character of the "pit bull" some will use it anyway and get the "snowball of unwanted traits started". I know of some persons who have a line of dogs that are various % of McCool extract and are great preformers but have human aggressive behavior on and off the program. So, due to the great diversity that exist within the canine family, there is a grater % of "passover" dogs that are included in the breeding gene pool.
The Cold As The Arctic bitch, has proven to be even colder, even in the hands of people who use this blood carefully, however, they have plans to use her for breeding, since they are not afraid to breed a pedigree they like. I am not of that thinking, since I have seen dogs bred differently indicating less expectation but proved at a early age mental intent and desire. That particular breeding I feel was thinned out just a bit to far and lacks the luster that the pedigree suggest. I know who saw that little bitch and the observers, one person who was there is considered a bum and a 2 bit hustler among true pit bull breeders. So the fact he would say she acted like a puppy from a drunks point of view would be an incorrect assumption.
There is also the "genetic wash" where a certain line can be restored to a higher level of quality and production. This requires the same method of search and destroy. Once a grouping has been formed of quality dogs, a little inbreeding works and from that point on some line breeding and continued cull. This can be a long process or one that is relatively reasonable because of the dogs ability to pass on inheritable traits from generatioon to the next. You can't turn shit into sugar, nor will the estimation and opinion of onlookers change the genetic process of breeding DOGS

John we all know you won't be enlightening us with your contradictary reasoning because when busted you avoid all questions. Instead you ramble on about something stupid that didn't even pertain to the original question.

Here is another one for you Old Contradiction. Why were you so excited about an 8 month old son of Shooter II that was a game finsher?...LOL!

Upcoming finisher with unpredictable deep game. Nice example of the correct results from a workable cross. Each family contributing to the end result, developing a new strain of each family.

WE REALLY LIKE HOW THE INFLUENCE OF LITTLE BESS AS A RED NOSE, MADE A CLEAN INFLUENCE IN THIS BREEDING PRODUCING BETTER DOGS.
CARVER THAT WAS USED IS A CHALLENGE BUT SEEMS TO CONFORM TO THE RED INFLUECE NICELY.
NOT ALL CROSSES PRODUCE WELL, THIS ONE OUT OF 10 PUPS SEEMS TO BE THE ONE. HE WILL BE GOING OUT AND NOT USED AS A STUD DOG LIKE HIS SIRE...ZEROXWINNER AT NEARLY 3 YEARS OLD.

Can you please explain how a line of dogs that have NEVER done anything performance wise going to help the most consistent winning Carver family? I would love to hear you idiotic reasoning on this one...LOL!

The part I like is where you talk about Shooter II not being shown. John those OFBA dogs you have NEVER had a tooth in them. When you plan on showing any of those non papered OFBA dogs? Can I be the first person on the list when you do? I would be more than happy to cut your feed bill and pick up some fast cash...LOL.
