I place with my cousins and friends dogs from the Hemphill, Creed (Polly & Sister Sue bloodlines) and Boudreaux bloodline.
Example, I talked to a guy in TN. He claimed Backwoods Pits bought all of my Boudreaux dogs when B.P. knew good well he didn't. B.P. saw Chewy (Shannon's sister) at Kelly Jone's house. Kelly was one of my partners and she is the person B.P. came up and got Ironline's Ox and his litter mate sister Magic from, and Jessica Hahn, both off my dog Boudreaux' Check bred to his daughter Buttercup by Garland McDaniels and myself. B.P. never did pay Kelly for Magic.
There is a picture of Chewy on my site of Chewy at Kelly's house by Kelly's pool. B.P. tries to make people believe he owned Check. In truth, he never laid eyes on Check!
I owned Check from 5 years old until the day he died when I put him down in 1992.
I owned and was the breeder of both Ox/Shannon, and Ox/Red Bonny breeding. It wasn't until after the breeding, about two to three years, I sold them to him. Yes, he kennel boy for me and whelped the litter but as everyone who knows me, knows, if I own the dog I SAY TO WHOM AND WHEN THE DOG IS BRED! Like Shannon to Gr. Ch. Joey. I did the breeding, ask McNasty!

This is the same about my Hemphill dogs. I don't keep them here with me because of their importance. The dogs from Maximillian, Susie Que and Mitzie are the most important to me and stay only with me and there are very few people who own females straight down from those dogs. NO ONE has litter mates sisters to any of my dogs!

Once in a great while something happens and some are not able to be kept by the people who has them second or third hand farm outs and when all else fails, I will offer them to the public once in a blue moon but those are no longer the lines I wish to multiply breeding of for the public.

It isn't always because I feel the quality of the dogs aren't there, some of it is because I just don't want to sell it to no one. Example, my straight blood I feel is the best quality of all and I don't want it out to no one anymore. I have my reasons for this.

Over the last 14 years I have sold only 3 Hemphill dogs to the public (2 people and one of them don't have them anymore) and all I have heard is shit talking about them by either the people who own them or the jealous people who don't!!!!
Recently, about 1 1/2 ago I had more then a couple come available and most went over seas. Few didn't. Many are still around in good places.
So goes the life of farming out dogs.

There has been a few times I dirt nap them so I didn't have to deal with it!

96%? Never did the math on it. If they say so.
Our Hemphill dogs were based on three dogs. Maud, Spike and Duster. The rest is just how they were put together.
After the first generation or two of them is when they were farmed out. My posts told you why. Others felt, No since in capping them if the will stick around.
Even today the BS ill-temperament is still there and let me tell you, the last trip back, he almost got it......>
But before he left here, no problem, go figure.

People who own my Hemphill dogs? People is plural and I am assuming you mean public because none of you know my private farm outs, I guess I never met them before so I guess I truly can't respond to your post.
Why did the people who kept them from the farm outs keep and breed them like they do, for the same reason those people do with my Boudreaux' Boze dogs. They haven't given them a reason to not too. The garden is always weeded out. :)

For years I tried to stay private and let my brother do the talking but after his fall in 1983 working Iron, more and more I had to become public.
My personal opinion always been not about papers but winners. This is why I work so hard trying to figure out Ch. Dutchess, Ch. Gambler, Ch. Red Dog and Ch. Hagler stock I own. Will it be worth feeding for generations to come? Only time will tell. It just so happens what are produced is red nose stock though I know there is more black nose closer up in these pedigrees then other bloodlines I own.

As for showing,
it is about winning and winning is about the green and NO other color!
So for the record of my history, I'm color blind!

I.M.
