Date Posted: 05:35:03 07/01/05 Fri Many on here belief that any pedigree wrote down on here that does not show heavy rednose blood may have no bussiness on here. Being out of the dogs for two years now gave me time to check on pedigrees that I myself even beliefed all these years. If one checks and hunts the real or as close to real pedigree on many dogs one will find some rednose blood added somewhere in the pedigree. Although I can say this that no one knows 100% how their dog is bred as no one can say or state the truth how the breed was originated in the first place. So those 6-7-8-9-10-generation pedigrees look great but 99/9/10ths are wrong. Best bet is to go by the first three generations and be content. One can belief or dissbelief it or not but more dogs today are carrying rednose genes then one would suspect. It does not make the dog better or worse and as a matter of fact many high profile dogs carry more of the rednose blood today then one wants to admitt. Belief it or not.
