Date Posted: 04:25:00 02/15/06 Wed I wanted to explain something that seems to got off track. The post about Ron Sitzes.I mentioned the fact about dogs that I saw on Jakes yard. First answer is I did not claim the fact that the dogs I seen were not taken care of.I thought Ron and his wife did a good job takeing care of Jakes dogs,Rons own dogs,handleing things the best he could.As far as I know Ron and his wife not only took care of the dogs but also Jake before he went back into nurseing home.Anyone doing that is a credit to the human race. Now as for the dogs not being takeing care of that caused them to become what I term man eaters was so.I was there on Jakes yard with Ron,he took me around to all the dogs and he told me who was who.I said that I could not get over the fact that Jake kept so many maneaters. My memory is at times to the letter.The point I'am trying to make is this I cannot recall every detail.But I can and never will forget the dog pens which might have been more or less 5-6-7 or 4-5-6-7- or even more.The dogs that were contained in them were without a shadow of a doubt dogs that would bite someone.I know the difference between a dog that gets excited when someone new arrives or gets aggressive when someone unknow comes along.Those dogs were an accident waiting to happen. And they were clean and healthy as were the others that were kept on the chains.But I also said that some of the chained dogs would do harm also if given the chance.The dogs at the time I seen them were healthy and clean and the two young males off red satan were good looking pups. I was there one week after Jake returned to nurseing home or what have you.It was not an unknown visit for Jake as it was set up long before as when I would arrive.Unless Ron was told by Jake of me comeing up to get the four boxes of pictures and peds that we agreed up he appeared surprized. I had come to an address in another state for the first time and went to it to find it empty of any human being.I had no idea Jake was not there,I did not have a number to call for info,i did however have an old gazzette with me with an add containing Rons number next to Jakes.It was then that I got to talk to Ron.So if he had no idea of me comeing he sure kept the yard of Jakes clean. Everyone sees anothers yard differently and Ron was proud of his and his dogs.All were healthy and many might have been overweight.One can tell and see in the eyes when a man is proud of something he has. He also was proud of the dogs Jake had as they were where his stock came from. When I mentioned about those few on chains and in the pens even Ron replied that at times he felt uneasy around them. But for the record and meaning no dissrespect to either RON or JAKE both of the yards were clean and the dogs appeared to be well taken care of. Alot of money was being made from the selling of the dogs.Ron himself showed me a black book over flowing with deposits for pups.I told him why do people send their deposits so far in advance as I only seen one (one) female that was ready to have pups yet there was more check deposits then one female could have had in three or four breedings. Although I cannot claim Ron Sitzes as being a close friend he was someone that I considered a friend.if he had faults then so be it as there is nobody that is perfect.As far as Jake goes he was a friend just like Ron.He offered me those pictures and boxes of pedigrees not knowing if he would ever see them again.I'll always respect him for that and other things he accomplished in life. A maneater is just that and that might be why the dogs are in the shape as far as laws go nowadays. People that purchase dogs need to know everything they could and that goes the for the breeder also. Both the breeder and the buyer of any line of dogs should be honest and inform each other of their intent of either breeding or purchaseing a pup or even a young prospect. Just wanted to let you or anyone else know that Ron Sitzes did what most would not have done by takeing care of not only another mans yard full of dogs but the man himself before he had to go to a nurseing home. I cannot say how honest the man was but he showed no bad traits what so ever.He was like all of us respected by some and bashed by others. I also cannot answer why Jake kept the dogs he did but that was something only he knew and none of mine bussiness. Hope this sets things straight so that it is not taken in any wrong way.
