However, other folks knew Jake as well and was aware of his situation and the condition of his dogs during his illness. Many red nose dogs were sold for money since Jake was hard pressed at certain times and the opportunity to make money off his dogs was presented to him by different folks who's names I will not mention. The story of the "Old Family Red Nose" in my opinion will always begin and end with Mullin's review as posted by Mike. No one was able to continue the breeding of those red nose dogs mentioned in Mullin's writing. If so, most were wrongly sold and bred. Billy you have great dogs along with WOOD, MORGAN and are being sold to date. Mike you stand on your own, as an accomplished breeder of some fine dogs based on Ross Red Devil and crosses. I'm just a pea in a pot trying to do some good dogs and would appreciate any knowledge and history you make available for myself and others. I'm no longer interested in the origin of Wilder's Red Satan or who has OFRN PURE today. I'm not breeding that way, but will always maintain my OWN line of Red Nose Family with or without the stories. There has been enough damage done already and impossible to defuse. I got some facts from both of you that are true to date and will also maintain other sources of information that I have as well. Thanks for your time and experience. Done Deal.
