Woah, I just found this website too, I've been trying to find people from Cross Creek but those jerks always made it so impossible to stay in contact with anyone. Hey Meagan, I was in there 95-96 too, but in C-group. I actually think I had a few friends in H-group (I think it was H group) Jennifer and Myriah Higgens. Were they in your group? I know what you mena about the place being pyschotic though. I'll check back on this site often, let me know if you know those girls.

I came back and worked with AA grp after I left. Had Norm and Ron June when I was in St George

I went to the transition place too, i was only there for about 1 1/2 before i was done with the program, I think it was called the Ancestor Inn, or something like that. Your "since then" story sounds uncannily like mine. I too have 8 1/2 years clean, and got married in 2002, no babies yet though! Congratulations on yours! Where do you live? I'm over hear on the West Coast, San Jose CA. Even wierder, Ron June was my therapist too! I was so lucky to have him. Post back, and by the way, do you know of any boards that have a lot of old Cross Creek alumns (or alumni-whatever the word)?

I am considering sending my 14 year daughter to Spring Creek Lodge. I'm not sure what the answer is, I'm getting so many conflicting reports.

My name is Ben I worked at transition when it opened it was one of the greatest experiences of my life , I think all who were there would agree that we all had fun learning how to cook and all the activities we went on. That was one of the best places for kids i have ever seen. Cross Creek did that right at least.

ben, They kids say different. How can you sleep at night? were you a program grad? or a local who needs money? Did you know there was just a press confrence in Washington on Capital Hill, where there was a number of Mental Health professionals. They were talking about the abuse that goes on in these so called treatment facilities. What qualifacations do you have to work with troubled teens? How do you know it is good for them? are you a Doctor? What about their education? Dont you think they have a right to be in school? not just given a book? Did you ever hand out punishment? was it isolation? Do you allow them to use the restroom when ever they need? when do they get to see/talk to their parents? HOW DARE YOU SAY IT IS GOOD FOR THEM.

dont kid yourself lil man.......
just cause you thought "hell no not on your best day and my worst" meant "daddy I want you" doesn't make it fact....
if that lets you sleep better at night, keep the dream alive then.

Lil man (looks side to side) unless you are talking to my pinkie finger the only thing small is that lil piece of skin you call a ball sack between your legs. See where you fucked up is trying to categorize me into that section of dudes who kiss your feet cause you is a woman. Ha ha I aint them so you can take that shit somewhere else. So why dont you go in the kitchen and make some dinner for your family before your husband starts whoopin ya ass for smokin all his crack rock.

I don't remember a Jennifer or Myriah Higgins. The people I remember are Pauline, Lia Pecora, Natalia, Allissa Eggabret, Andy, Robin, Shannon, the list goes on but these girls I remember very well. It would be nice to get in touch with someone from H-group that was there between 94-96. Anyway my heart goes out to all the Cross Creek survivors as well as those poor souls still being held at Cross Creek. I encourage all of you who feel this was a horrible experience and are not brain washed by the program to write their state representatives urging an investigation. There is power in numbers, and this bussiness (and that is all it is) NEEDS to be shut down and Bob litchfield along with David Gilcrest need to be thrown in Jail. Although when I think about it jail is to good for them. Keep up the fight. Meagan
