Subject: Hey - Wow, you're lucky (and the kids especially) that you have a middle school right next door so the kids pretty much stay together. Our middle school split into two high schools and our high school is fed by two middle schools. Not cool. Anyways - Bio was much better today, except I was late and got a warning (next time it's detention, yikes. I'll cry, I never had one in my life) but I didn't like spanish much. I didn't cry all day though, an improvement. I'm hoping it'll all be okay soon. And thanks again for your well wishes. I can't believe how different this is from last year I was saying I LOVE SCHOOL constantly, LOL.
In reply to: LynnBo Katie, if you really can't get thru bio, will the counselor let you change to a class where you know someone? You've already talked to him, he might be willing to help you. 's message, "Actually, we are small school of only 925 students and our only feeder middle school is right next door! Our 2 schools don't mix, but the middle schoolers usually know several of our students from sharing buses and attending our athletic events. They are also very familiar with each other - some of them have been classmates since kindergarten! They are not as overwhelmed as they would be going to a new school at a totally different location and being tossed in with freshmen who came from different feeder schools. I hope things get better for you - keep talking to the counselor, that's why he's there.
