Subject: Cass, I'm very sorry to hear about your math woes thru the years. As a 26 year veteran in the high school math classroom, I have always felt that pull out programs for gifted students did them more harm than good. Fortunately, curriculums are better designed now and I feel they are meeting the needs of the gifted student in ways pullout programs never could. I would also like to offer to help you try to salvage your grade in Intermediate Algebra. I can try to handle it at this mb, or thru my public e-mail.
