No, the colonoscopy tube is NOT the size of a garden hose. It is about 1/2 inch in outside diameter. I would not fuss except for the fact that a colonoscopy is such a very important part of health care. We need to encourage everyone over 50 years old to have a colonoscopy. It is far better then colon cancer!
