But I dont think small differences in this are more important than comfort and modesty. I was clystered with the can from early childhoos because this is more comfortable than the bulb. Knowing enemas been given in a comfortable and modest manner I decided to receive enemas when not feeling well and to take enemas at my periods.
If the giver decides only because of effectiveness disregarding comfort and modesty - well then children will take oral laxatives later. You know enemas are given comfortable and modest when a constipated child asks for an enema itself.
