In reply to: Charles 's message, "40's and 50's enema" on Friday, March 30, 2012, 11:54: am

Charles,
I was born in the 40's and well remember mom giving me enemas as needed, mostly for constipation. Mom did not give me any enemas for punishment. Enemas were part of my bonding experience with mom. She also was constipated all of her life and took enemas. No, I never saw her take one. Enemas were a private mater at our house. I developed a love for enemas and am definitely "hooked". I consider myself to be completely sextually normal. For me enemas are for both health and enjoyment. As I have stated on this forum, I am convinced that enemas have prevented or cured many health problems. For me enemas are the nearest thing to the "fountain of youth". Long live the enema.

I couldn't agree more. I was born in 1948 and my parents and grandparents believed in the benefits of enemas. Enemas were always used for constipation and other routine ailments. In those days, doctors made housecalls and I always knew I would have an enema as soon as he left. While I never saw anyone having an enema, I knew that all took them. Neither my mother nor grandmother hid the enema bags. The bags always hung behind the bathroom door or from the shower curtain rod to dry after use.
