My mom, an RN, never needed anyone elses' influence to give me yet another series of enemas. I think that nozzle spent more time inserted up my ass than it did looped into the mouth of the bag or hanging down into the tub (the bag was stored on the shower curtain rod) draining from its last usage. She took a lot of them herself too, usually after she gave me mine, and administered to dad too.
I tended a bit toward constipation anyway, so whether to cure it or to stave it off, I got enemas no further apart than 3 days, and Saturday or Sunday always included an extended session with the bulb (SSEs) and bag (plain water rinses).
Nope, no outside influences were needed....
