I got monthly enemas from mom starting at age 8 and ending around age 23 when I got married. During a typical session, she'd usually give me two or three "high enemas" using her 2 quart feminine syringe. The first would be in the knee-chest position, the second and third were on my back. I started to have erections during my enemas around age 12, which became obvious to mom when I was on my back. She took great pains to reassure me that this was a natural reaction for boys and not to be concerned. She explained that the enema not only cleansed the colon, but it also stimulated the prostate, and that's why I'd get an erection during enemas.
One day right before she gave me my second enema, she slipped a gloved finger into my rectum and showed me where the prostate was located. She went on to explain what the prostate's function was. That explanation led me to the first of many sex education discussions with mom. She told me that masturbation was OK because the prostate needed to be emptied periodically, and that emptying the prostate while having an enema was best. That day she had me ejaculate during that second enema. It was delightful, and was done is such a way that I was not embarrassed or ashamned.
