 I must have been about 9, when my mother decided I was constipated, and gave me an enema. It didn't work very well (I don't think she used enough water). She decided I needed a laxative, and the only laxative in the house was Castor Oil. I got 2 Tbs in a glass of orange juice. About 4 hours later I was playing outside, and I suddently realized I need to go and ran inside.

I went from not being able to go, to not being able to stop. The castor oil really cleaned me out. So that was my first experience with both enemas and castor oil

The Russian Popular Medicine determines the dose of Castor Oil in the following manner: 1 kilogramme of the weight of the human body corresponds to 1 milliliter Castor Oil; e. g. 60 kilogrammes correspond to 60 milliliters (= 2 oz) Castor Oil. Naturally in Russia this dose will be taken together with an appropriate dose of Cognac, for Castor Oil is soluble in alcohol.

There is nothing harmful about 4 oz of Castor Oil. It won't do anything more than 2 oz, the standard dose, except make you poo more undigested oil.
