I always viewed enemas as "an enemy" when I was a kid. I guess I was too young to realize they'd make me feel better, so they were typically a source of dread and discomfort. When my wife gave me that first enema a couple months after marriage, they instantly turned into my "long lost friend". She made me feel so much better after that enema, so now I won't put up a fuss when she thinks I need one. She knows how to give one without causing too much discomfort, so it's not dreaded like it was when I was a kid.

Enemas were never my enemy. I loved them all from the very first one.
