I received my punishment suppositories before a spanking. They were awful and my mum used ginger root.

Wow, someone else who got ginger suppositories as a punishment! I got them through my late teens for mis-behaving. It was panties off, a swift spanking and then that damn ginger up my butt and standing in the corner for an hour or more.

Were these suppositories just carved pieces of ginger root or were they commercial ginger suppositories (bought from a store)? Also, how large were they? How often were you punished this way? Thanks.

They were large carved pieces of the actual root (bigger than a thumb).

Didn't get them too often, mostly for serious offenses like bad grades or one time I was caught shoplifting. Got them until I was 18.
