I ocasionally do Epsom salt enemas. I use about 2 tbl spoons per quart and I usually take 2.5 to 3 quarts. I find it easier to take and hold compared to soapy enemas. The laxative effect will continue for quite a while if you dont rinse all the epsom out.

Late Sunday afternoon I gave myself a 3 qt. soapsuds enema and decided to take an Epsom Salts enema as I had not done one in a long time. I took a 3 qt one but not as strong as mentioned above but strong enough. I finished with a 3 qt. soda and seasalt enema. On Monday morning, sinse I was well cleaned out, I decided to do a coffee enema. I used my primed 32 Fr colon tube and inserted it about 6 inched then put my pants on and with the tube comming up in front between my legs. I then sat in my chair and with a 4oz. bulb slowly pumped in about a quart of warm enema coffee. You are supposed to hold it for about 15 minutes but I dosed off and held it for over an hour. When I did expelled it I was relaxed and all went well. I may do that again.
